The Games

Flip Cup

Two teams will stand at a table, one on each side. Each player will have a cup. Each cup will be filled with an equal predetermined amount of beer. The teams will then choose a drinking order and at the ref's signal the first player from each team will pick up their cup, chug the beer, sit the cup on the edge of the table and attempt to flip it to an upside down position on the table. Once the first player has successfully flipped their cup, the next player in the line will do the same and so on until the whole team has finished. The first team to do this will be the winner. Once a winner is declared, the losing team will vote one player off of their team for the rest of the game. The winning team will then choose one of the remaining players opposite of them to drink the left over beer (every round 4 beers must be drank by each team). This will continue until only one team remains.

  • Players may not touch their cup until the person ahead of them has flipped their cup completely.

  • Players may move their drinking order in between rounds, however if voted out you may not re-enter.

  • Once the opposing team gives a member of your team extra drinks, that person must continue to drink that amount until they are kicked out or the game is over.

  • The other team will always decide who the extra drinks will go to.

  • Refs may make a player wait a few seconds to flip their cup if they have excessive spilling.

  • If it is decided that this game is not a tournament, each team will be given a set amount of points depending on where they place in the ranking after every team has finished.

  • Points will be given as follows in a tournament: for round one of tournament 1 point will be given to the winners. For round two, and every round after 2 points will be given. Players kicked out in the first round will not receive any points.

Variations

  • Sudden Death: No voting people out, winner is declared after one play through.

  • Ring of Death: Teams will be put in to groups, bottom three are dropped each round. Points are given if any players from your team make it to the following round and bonus points if you have more than one person at the end. (For example, second round gets one point, third gets two and so on.)

  • Sip and Flip: Players will have to slide down a water slide before playing, this is not survivor style.

BEER PONG

Standard Beer pong rules will apply. The game will be played in a tournament format. Players will take turns shooting ping pong balls into cups at the opposite ends of the table. Each team will have 6 cups. Every time a player makes a ball into a cup, the other team will drink the contents. Players will always alternate in drinking their cups.

  • Teams get two shots per turn, if both shots are successful one ball with be returned. Only three shots possible per turn.

  • A team may decide to have one person shoot both balls or each person throw one.

  • If a cup is made the other team may not take their turn until all beers have been drunk.

  • Bouncing is allowed but may be blocked.

  • No action may be made to stop a thrown ball, including using fingers or blowing on the cup.

  • For the purpose of keeping the games moving there will be no redemption.

  • Excessive spilling is not allowed, if too much is spilled the ref is authorized to take another cup from the drinking team.

  • Cups knocked over will be refilled and put back into place.

  • While the game is for two players only, teams may switch out members in between games.

  • Only one "re-rack" will be given per game, it will always be at three cups and will always be in a triangle shape. Players may call the re-rack at anytime during their turn.

  • If it is decided that this game is not a tournament, each team will be timed separately and points will be given out with first getting the most and last getting the least. (for example, if there are 8 teams 1st will get 8 points, 2nd will get 7, 3rd will get 6 and so on). Extra points will be given to winners.

  • Points will be given as follows in a tournament: for round one of tournament 1 point will be given to the winners. For round two, and every round after 2 points will be given. Players kicked out in the first round will not receive any points.

Variations

  • Trash Can: Same game MUCH bigger

  • 21 4v4: There will be 21 cups for each team, and four different colored balls. Each team member will have a designated ball color, they may only shoot that ball. If your ball goes in a cup then the opposing team member will have to drink that beer and cannot shoot until finished. You do not have to wait to shoot if the cups are missed with your color ball. First team to run out of cups to shoot at is the winner. BEWARE THE CHUG CUP:)

BEER DODGE BALL

This is a full team game in which teams will stand opposite of each other at a table similar to beer pong.  Each player will have a full beer lined along the edge of the table. The teams will take turns throwing a pong ball at the other teams cups. The object is to hit the cup and then start drinking your beer. When your cup is hit, you must chase the ball and bring it back to the table to a water cup placed in the middle of the table. Once the ball is placed in the water cup, the player who threw the ball must stop drinking and return his cup to the table. The first team to drink all of their beers will be declared the winner. This game will only be played as a tournament.

  • If a player keeps drinking after the ball is retrieved, the ref may allow the other team an extra shot.

  • Excessive spilling while drinking will result in disqualification at the judges discretion.

  • If a cup is spilled or knocked off the table, it is considered empty. If it is knocked over by accident or by your team, you may be disqualified or penalized by the judges.

  • If a player finishes their beer, they will be allowed to shoot for their teammates. The player shooting must call who they are shooting for. The person they are shooting for drinks as normal.

  • Points will be given as follows: for round one of tournament 1 point will be given to the winners. For round two, and every round after 2 points will be given. Players kicked out in the first round will not receive any points.

Variations

  • This game may be played with only two members per team.

LONG POUR

This will be a timed event. A pitcher will be filled with the amount of 3 beers. One player will be the "pourer". The other three will be potential drinkers. The pourer will pour the beer into their team members mouth from a predetermined height. The fastest time wins the event.

  • All players will pour from the same height.

  • Excessive spilling, (anything larger than a CD) will yield a 1 minute penalty.

  • The drinkers will be able to switch out during the event at any time, as many times as they want.

  • If too much is spilled you may be disqualified at the judges discretion.

  • Direct dumping of the pitcher is an automatic DQ.

  • Each team will be timed separately Each team will be given a set amount of points depending on where they place in the ranking after every team has finished.

Variations

  • Two-story Bong: Two stories of tubed Beer.

THREE LEGGED BARTENDER

In this event, two team members (the "bartender") will be tied together in the fashion of a 3 legged race. The other two team members will be placed in chairs and will be the "drinkers". The two team members tied together will start at a table with two beers sitting on two serving trays. Each player will pick up a tray and the timer will start. They will then race to one their first drinker who will pick up the beer and chug it. Then they will race to the other drinker and allow him to chug the other beer. Once the bartender has returned to the table and set the trays down, the timer will stop.

  • The bartenders must wait til the drinker is done drinking the beer and replaces the cup back on the tray before moving on.

  • If an empty cup is dropped, the bartender must pick it up and place it back on the tray before continuing.

  • Each bartender may only touch their tray and may not touch the cup unless they are picking it up.

  • If a full cup is dropped, the bartender must return to the table to have it refilled.

  • Excessive spilling while carrying or chugging the beer will result in a 10 second penalty at the judges discretion.

  • Each team will be timed separately Each team will be given a set amount of points depending on where they place in the ranking after every team has finished.

OBSTACLE COURSE

For this game, there will be a start line, an end  line, and a table.  Teams will race between the lines doing any number of tasks ( i.e. sack hop, dizzy-bat, hurdles, etc) then run to the table to drink a predetermined amount of beer.  The tasks will change every year to keep the players on their toes. So will the amounts of beer, could be all the same, could be different levels for each player (but the same for all teams).  The beer amount tasks will be a surprise!

  •  Excessive spilling will be a 10 second penalty or a DQ at the judges' discretion.

  • Each team will be timed separately Each team will be given a set amount of points depending on where they place in the ranking after every team has finished.

Variations

  • Relay: A relay race instead of back and fourth.

BLIND MAN'S FUMBLE

In this event, two members of each team will be blindfolded. The other two will serve as their eyes. The two blind men will have to find beers sitting inside of a "play area". When they find a beer their outside teammate will run in and give them a full beer, they must chug it, hold it upside down to show its empty, then  the ref will tell them to continue to search for beers. Once both Blind men have found and drank two beers the game is over.

  • This is a timed event the players will start searching once the ref says go and starts the clock. When both have finished the clock will stop.

  • If while drinking there is excessive spilling or drops come out when upside down there will be a 10 second penalty.

  • The two team members not blindfolded must stay out side the play area. They may not have physical contact with the blind men. They may yell out "forward" backward" "left" and "right". They may not say any other words.

  • If the Blind men go outside of the play area their team members may yell "OUT".

  • Names may not be used

  • Words used that are not approved are a 10 second penalty. Excessive use of other words may be grounds for disqualification.

  • Each team will be given a set amount of points depending on where they place in the ranking after every team has finished.

CORN HOLE

This game is played much like regular Cornhole, but with custom boards.

  • Each player will get three shots at the board.

  • Players may not shoot for each other.

  • If the bean bag falls through a numbered hole you gain that many points. If it falls through a drink hole then you must drink before your next shot.

  • The bean bag must fall through the hole completely. Bags a player threw stay on the board until that player is finished, if a bag causes other bags on the board to fall in they still count as drinks/points.

  • After a player takes their shots the bags are collected and the next player can go.

  • Each team will be given a set amount of points depending on where they place in the ranking after every team has finished.

THE CHUG

Each player on each team will receive a full beer. Players will take turns chugging their beer in any order the team wishes. Time will start when the first player lifts their cup and will end when the last player puts theirs down.

  • THE CHUG IS USED ONLY FOR BREAKING TIES.

  • No spilling is allowed during the chug. Any spilling caught by judges or refs will result in disqualification.

  • Players may not touch their cup until the previous player sits theirs down. Any player caught touching their cup early will earn their team a 10 second wait penalty.

  • When players are finished, they must hold their cup upside down without ANY beer spilling out. Drops will result in a 10 second penalty.

  • First team to finish wins!
